Based in Zurich, Switzerland, we offer a Calligraphy Service in kimono at corporate events and exhibitions throughout Europe, hand-writing guests’ names in Japanese calligraphy using Kanji or Katakana characters.
What is the Calligraphy Service?
Dressed in kimono, we hand-write each guest’s name in Kanji or Katakana as a one-of-a-kind piece of calligraphy for them to take home. Even for guests unfamiliar with Japanese culture, receiving their own name as a unique work of art is always a memorable gift — a favourite highlight at corporate events, exhibition booths, and talks & demonstrations. On request, we can also offer a hands-on format where guests try writing with the brush themselves.
Events we cover
Corporate exhibition booths, trade fair (Messe) appearances, pop-culture events, conventions, and festivals — often combined with a matcha pop-up or a talk & demonstration. We are available to travel across Europe (Switzerland, Germany, France, and other EU countries) for on-site events.
